Torinoko is located in a small alley in Yakuin and is like a secret hideaway. However, there exists another world once you go through the gate. Inside the gate is very spacious and has a very quiet and sacred atmosphere.
Inside the restaurant is also quiet and is dim. I felt very relaxed and comfortable.
We ordered a tori-suki (chicken-sukiyaki) full-course. The full-course included tori-suki, tori-sashi (chicken-sashimi) and so forth. Tori-suki was very soft and veri rich. Tori-shashi was a little bit chewy but was very rich. We enjoyed them a lot. Torinoko serves various kinds of alcohol such as shochu, umeshu, sake and so forth. It serves more than 10 kinds of sake! You can also enjoy sake a lot.
