Umenoyado is located in Nara Prefecture. The sake brewer brews only a small amount of sake. But its quality is very good. I bought Umenoyado UK-01. It is not common to name sake using alphabets and numbers. U means Umenoyado and K means Kurabito, i.e., brewers.
Recently, many Japanese people, in particular, young Japanese people do not have sake. They only have beers, wines, and shochus. That's why the young brewers in Umenoyado want the young Japanese to enjoy sake.
UK-01 has a smell like apples and a light taste. Therefore, those who do not enjoy sake can enjoy UK-01 a lot. The label carried above says that it goes well with pizzas, pastas, and so on.
