Yabukin is located in Daimyo, Chuo-ku which is the central part of Fukuoka. More than 80-year Japanese style house is used as the restaurant. As soon as I saw the restaurant, I felt relaxed and comfortable. It reminds me of my grandmother's house.
Inside of the restaurant was kept clean and tidy and it created a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant also has a courtyard. The courtyard was also very beautiful.
I ordered two small bottles of sake (one small bottle can contain 180ml of sake), chicken seasoned with soy sauce and Japanese horseradish and soba topped with grated Japanese radish, nori seaweed sheets, negi onion slices and dried bonito shavings.
Noodles were elastic and had a good aroma. The grated radish was very hot but went well with sake. The chicken was also good. As for sake, you can enjoy six kinds of sake. All of them are very famous ones. When you eat soba, you should eat it with sake.
