Yabukin is located in Daimyo, Chuo-ku which is the central part of Fukuoka. More than 80-year Japanese style house is used as the restaurant. As soon as I saw the restaurant, I felt relaxed and comfortable. It reminds me of my grandmother's house.
Inside of the restaurant was kept clean and tidy and it created a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant also has a courtyard. The courtyard was also very beautiful.
I ordered two small bottles of sake (one small bottle can contain 180ml of sake), chicken seasoned with soy sauce and Japanese horseradish and soba topped with grated Japanese radish, nori seaweed sheets, negi onion slices and dried bonito shavings.
Noodles were elastic and had a good aroma. The grated radish was very hot but went well with sake. The chicken was also good. As for sake, you can enjoy six kinds of sake. All of them are very famous ones. When you eat soba, you should eat it with sake.
Tsururu is located in Haruyoshi where a lot of famous restaurants in Fukuoka are located. Many people gather there in weekends. However, Tsururu has a sacred and purified atmosphere. You can enjoy various fish and vegetables as well as sake in Tsururu in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
Sea bream fry and sweet tomato
Jack, cuttlefish, sea urine, sea bream and grunt sashimi (from the left)
Eggplant seasoned with miso
You can enjoy ten kinds of sake. All of them are very good.
You can enjoy the very tasty full course dinner for only 6000 yen.
Inside the restaurant is also quiet and is dim. I felt very relaxed and comfortable.
We ordered a tori-suki (chicken-sukiyaki) full-course. The full-course included tori-suki, tori-sashi (chicken-sashimi) and so forth. Tori-suki was very soft and veri rich. Tori-shashi was a little bit chewy but was very rich. We enjoyed them a lot. Torinoko serves various kinds of alcohol such as shochu, umeshu, sake and so forth. It serves more than 10 kinds of sake! You can also enjoy sake a lot.
